The Olney Tennis courts are NOT accessible by Metro. However, if you have recovered after those few weeks, we can either
--Arrange transportation from Rockville. (Maybe you can ask Asif or David on my friends list?)
or
--We can switch over to the Montgomery College Rockville tennis courts (slightly more accessible - Rockville Metro Station, Number 49 bus towards Montgomery College and/or Shady Grove).
We still got time, so just let me know what you would like to do. Also, if you want to bring some of your tennis friends to either of the events, you're definitely more than welcome to to so:) More players = more fun:)
April 11, over at the Greencastle Tennis courts, there's gonna be a free outdoor tennis event there. Food, drink, and all that there. It's gonna be from 8am to 2pm. Lots of fun. You can check out the information for it at http://www.tennisladder.com. Should have something about it on the main page.
Also, do you know where the Olney Sports Center is? Recently, I've been playing there with some other people. Pretty good courts and all that. I think we might make it a regular thing, from 10:30 ish to 2:00 pm, depending on the weather. Would you like to join us?
Hope your arm is getting better. And also, hope you enjoyed the finals of the Aussie Open:)
Anyways, I might start setting something up for a few of us to do tenniswise either late February or early March...the weather overall seems to be improving.
I actually heard about your snowboarding accident from Asif last Saturday. I hope you get better soon. I think the weather will be a lot better by the time the 4 weeks is over too, so it should be beneficial for all of us.
Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 13,000 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!
