Hey Mark, I just sent this message out to our core group for Clay Court Tennis Day!! Check it out:
Hey, whattup tennis buddies!
I am setting up our first clay court event- ready to rock?
The plan is:
First we decide a day. Our choices so far are Saturday June 6th, or Saturday June 13th...
I figure we meet at 9am for coffee, and then carpool over to Carmel, getting there around 11am. I'll reserve the courts from 11:30am to 3:30pm for some solid hours of trash talkin tennis. Ride home and back by 5ish...
The fees are $70 an hour for 2 clay courts. 4 hours grand total $280... 6 to 8 people would probably work best, around $35 per person... If more people want to roll, then we can just take turns and incorporate some type of tournament thing to keep the day moving...
Hi Mark
Welcome back! I sent you a friend request so I can give you my info. Looks like you've been playing with the Mid-Peninsula gang. They're nice guys! Played with them last Summer. May come to join you guys soon! Hope all is well. G.
Hey Mark,

Glad you are coming back in February --- let me know when you get here and we can play.
Hi Mark
I played on San Pablo Park courts in Berkeley this weekend. They're not bad and closer to Emeryville. The courts are on Mabel and Russell streets off Ashby. Do you mind playing there instead of Washington Park?
i play on the washington park courts in alameda, they are pretty nice and lighted in the evenings. They do get pretty busy once people get out of work but are open for the most part during the day...im pretty much available wenever starting weds. what's your availability like?
Hi Mark
I am currently out of the country. I don't know of any public courts in Emeryville. The ones I play on are private. Nearby public courts worthy of mentioning are:
Hopkins - Berkeley
Rose Garden - Berkeley
Davie Stadium - Oakland
Washington Park - Alameda.
There are several members from Emeryville. You may also want to search members from areas close by such as Berkeley, Oakland & Alameda. It's usually easy to find players with advanced notice.
oh hey mark, one thing tho, i would really appreciate it if you could RSVP tho, cuz some of our members drive really far to attend our events and they want to see if people are coming first. Oh, and if it's raining tomorrow then don't come. haha. laters.
