Actually - I could do Tuesday as well. I think I'll skip a lesson this week, so it's open.

Hi Janet -

Thanks for your note. I didn't check until today so I'm not actually prepared to meet up. Sorry about that.

Can you do Thursday of this week instead? 7ish? Burgess might charge for playing, but I can check on that. So, it might be worth going someplace else.

Let me know if Thursday works!

Thanks!
Stephanie

Hey Janet,
Thanks for the info. I came to know about another one. There are floodlit courts in a park at the South-West intersection of Willow & Coleman (willow oaks park). :)

Hey Janet -

I finally have a racket! So, no more borrowing.

This week is pretty bad, but generally I can get together any weekday evening (except Tuesdays) around 7 or later. And, I can usually do weekend mornings as well. This upcoming weekend happens to also be bad with company in town, but starting next week I'm available.

Do you want to get together? Next week I can do evenings at 7ish Monday, June 23, Thursday 26th or the weekend mornings as well.

I'm familiar with the courts at Palo Alto high school, Peers Park, and just found the ones in Menlo Park at Burgess Park. Not sure how it works to reserve a court or if people just show up.

Anyway - let me know your thoughts!

Stephanie
Thanks!

Hey there, can you please tell me where tennis courts are in menlo park?. I work in menlo park and would like to hit the court during office hours once or twice a week. Hopefully I can grab someone from my office or outside to play with :d

Thanks

hi Janet,

I see you're in Menlo Park, not far from me in Mnt View. Would you want to hit the courts sometime? I'm not great, but if i guessed my level, it would be about 2.5. Let me know.

Thanks, Matt

Hi Janet - I think it'd be great to get together to play sometime. I can hold my own hitting, but am still awful at serving, so if you're up for just hitting (or very patient) we should get together. I need to get myself a racket (have been borrowing) and then I'm up for it.

I work in Menlo Park and live just on the border of Menlo and Palo Alto - have been taking lessons at both Palo Alto high school and peers park. But, if there are other courts around I am open to those too.

Let me know if you are interested - I could potentially do something as early as this weekend. I tend to do lessons on tuesdays so after this week could do most mid-week evenings.

Thanks!
Stephanie

Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that fortunately,is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)

Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. You have the power here.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, search through the Groups, look at our Local Groups Map or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.… and just hang out and meet great people.

Welcome aboard,
Mark
