I've been trying to look at the ball through the racket like roger, but i can't even see the ball. Maybe i'm not hitting it early enough.

you will not see a clear ball, what you are looking for is a Blur or shadow or a trace or after image. the other benefit will be better balance because the head is not pulling the body away from the ball. to see what im talking about stare into you computer monitor and quickly move your hand back & forth in front of your eyes as you stare into the screen you will see the blur of a hand.

This site is ok, I have met a few people online but none in Hawaii. Tennis in Hawaii is great! Weather is the best here for outdoor sport. I love it! There is a variety of players with different levels of experience. There is a lot of courts to choose from, some get really full. There seems to be tournaments always going on.
