Dont get me wrong. I am just criticizing the idea because of Cost VS Value, Cost vs performance and Cost Vs benefits. If you wanted to hit the center of the racquet more... practice more downs( dribbling the ball with the racquet. ) Although the sweetspotter the 13 oz one does feel more like a tennis racquet when you hit vs a bat. there is more flex to it. but as a everyday trainer. maybe wirth $100 but not 200

I think they are two very different tools with different purposes. The Etch swing looks great for strength training and swing speed. I Would also suggest the racquet weight tool but the sweet spotter is promised to increase you ability to hit the ball more effectively in the sweet spot of the racquet, right? Less mishits and shanks and Yann says especially big improvement on serves.

well the spotter is only 13 Oz or around there. it is wider than a bat. But the thinness of a bat doesn't make it harder, its the weight of the bat. you can still kinda wrist it with the Sweetspoter. the sweetspotter does have a racquet handle. But I still don't see spending $200 on it as a good investment. where a bat can cost $3.00. But the Pat Etcheberry Etch-Swing is a worth while investment. 1 ETCH-Swing = $98…

V, It looks like he designed it to be wider than a baseball bat which I figure would make it easier. I imagine he found that this width is good enough to teach the sweet spot where a bat may be too thin.
