Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I trained as a competitive rower from 1990 (college) - 2000. I was the US Single sculler in 98 and 99 representing the US at world cup regattas and world championships. I also hold several gold medals in the National Championships for Rowing in singles sculling, doubles, quadrple sculls, and the eights. I began focussing on tennis after the birth of my son 6 years ago 2005 when I joined a local league. Needing a competitive outlet, and thriving on goals, I went from a 3.5 NTRP to a highly competitive 4.5 this year (2011). My goal is to continue to up my level of play for as long as my body will hold out! I am a personal trainer by trade and use that knowledge to keep in shape and recover from injuries.
