I have been reading the posts on tennisapolis, and it seems that you are very aware of the whole tennis scene. I moved recently to Friendship Heights, and am looking to play either singles or doubles in the area. I am writing to ask if you if you know of any tennis socials, or people who get together on a somewhat regular basis to hit in the Chevy chase, Bethesda area. I am really requesting information, more than anything else at this point. I think I am a 4.0 player, pretty consistent on both wings, more power on the forehand than backhand.

- Wow. We definetely have been in each other's circle. I play on Horace's WTT team. Cam plays on my Mixed DC team. Sandy and Tom whooped my butt one day at their Friday get together out at Branden Field.
And I usually participate in their tournaments, nice group out there and they are good to all levels.
Sign up for the SINGLES TOURNAMENT next weekend, it will be fun.
