round robins/meetups?
Are there any courts with a scheduled round-robin or meetup? They had these at the courts in my old town. Everybody could arrive at ~9am on a saturday and partner up with someone and play for the morning. Great way to meet other tennis players, especially for people new to town or without someone to regularly hit with. Do any of the courts around here do this? Preferrably public courts or private courts that don't break the bank?See More

Thanksgiving in Bradenton
Not sure if anybody in here is from the Bradenton area, I spend a lot of time in Bradenton and was wondering if anybody would be interested in hitting a little sometime? I'm open on weekends, and particularly this Thanksgiving...if anybody else wants to work off some turkey. I grew up playing and would rate myself ~ 3.0. - I grew up playing and I'm a very good tennis partner/opponent once I'm warmed up. I've had a break in playing for the last year or two because of graduate school, then working in a small town without much of a tennis community. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things here and I'm looking to meet some people near my age to get out to the courts frequently. I'm 28 and I'd rate myself as a 4.0-4.5 once I get back into my groove.
