"Well, if you live in Santa Rosa, I'd be happy to hit with you. If that's not the case, then SF is too far. I was living there in 2009 and looking for hitting partners. I see you've found one or two - best"
"Oh, by the way, to answer your email question--I don't know about this "groups" thing. I don't think I'm a part of any group. I'm not sure if that would actually help find partners...probably. Heh...."
"Hey Ms. Cook! Welcome to the desert that is Tennisopolis. Hopefully, this website is alive enough to help you find a hitting partner or two. Wanna be my friend in virtual space as well as in real life? Please say yes!! …"

Any interest in hitting around with someone new? Weeknights and some weekends can work for me. I'm in the Inner Richmond, and am about a 3.5 right now. I like to rally, and am definitely game for a match.
If you still check this website, I'm looking for some people to hit around with. I read one of your comments to someone else I was looking at (feels creepy...but I'm not), and I noticed you said that people claim to have a…"
Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Je parle français et adorerais trouver des francophones qui jouent au tennis. A part ça, bon, je me décrirai en anglais (mon français n'est pas si bon que ça!!).
I'm 35. I'm also a 3.5 (when out of practice, like nowadays). When in practice, I'm more like a 4.0. My worst stroke BY FAR is my second serve--it's not much better than a dink serve, although I was once shown how to do a kick serve and practiced for like, 5 minutes. My second worst area is net play. I'm okay, but haven't really practiced this since high school. My forehand, backhand, and 1st serve generally have pace and placement (placement after I get some practice).
Ideally, I'll find that elusive, "perfect" tennis partner, where neither of you has a clear jump on the other. It's shockingly hard to find! But more than anything, I just want to enjoy playing tennis with someone. Everything else is icing.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
