Night of Jazz, Drinks, and Raffle at The DUMBO loft

July 24, 2012 from 6pm to 10pm
It'd be easy to boast about the silent raffle we'll be having for a pair of U.S. Open President Box tickets. Or about all the amazing raffle prizes we'll have including concert tickets, sporting event tickets, gift certificates and baskets. I could tell you to come for the free drinks and little bites, or for the smoothest, live jazz band. But won't someone PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN! The proceeds from this fundraiser go to supporting our program's mission: Bringing Tennis to the Kids.…See More

Teach tennis to kids in BedStuy Brooklyn

We are volunteer group that teaches tennis as a platform for mentoring and community building to at-risk youth in four public housing communities in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Every Saturday from 12:30 - 3:00, May-October, we literally bring tennis to the kids by setting up temporary tennis courts within their communities. Each community comprises a tennis "club", with its own team jersey, and volunteer group. At the end of each season we put on a tennis jamboree with free T-shirts, trophies, and BBQ.…See More

hey michael,
ya sunday should work for me. i'm big into the euro 2008 soccer so i won't be able to play in the mid afternoon. so maybe late morning or evening? i don't have a permit- i think its fuckin ridiculous to pay $100 to play tennis- but there are courts at fort greene that we could play on for free. if you know any other places, let me know. look forward to it

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. It’s is a fantastic place to get tips for your game, chat about the latest gear, and especially, talk about the pros.

Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

Welcome aboard,
Mark
