Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Ive been playing tennis since I could walk. tennis has always been my number one sport. My father was a tennis coach and my grandfather was a tennis coach for over 50 years. He coached many great players like Rod Laver, Roy Emerson, Mal Anderson, Geoff Masters etc..
I played to a high level and traveled to Europe to enjoy the sport over there for a season.
Now I still train with full time players and enjoy the fitness and social side of tennis. I have my Level 2 Club Pro Coaching qualification and like to help players who are keen to make tennis their living. I am very fortunate to have many friends who were very successful with their tennis and played at the highest level for Australia. I really like to talk ot these guys and learn all the information I did not find out when I was growing up. My goal is to pass this information to todays players - where it will massively enhance their chances of success. I love tennis and I have setup a Tennis History site with a mate. It is such a great game the history of the equipment is really cool also. I have collected a fair few things over the years. My collection was started by my grandfathers Pro Shop - where I inherited alot of really cool things.

Thanks Michael, its the only racquet I hit well with. When I was 15, my coach switched me from a prince Classic to the Lendl racquet. He thought with the smaller head size, I would watch the ball more. I like the way it is not balanced (most of the weight is in the grip area). Oh, by the way, I went to the John Newcombe tennis academy a few weeks ago for a lesson, all run by Aussies! It was only a 1 hour lesson, but I got a lot out of it ! Its amazing how much you can improve when you get another perspective on your game.

Thanks much for your comments to my blog. Your ideas are very valid, and I will include them (with a nod to you for suggesting them) next time I submit them to a magazine, etc...

Great website, by the way. Great source for info!
