"I need a few tennis partners for this summer/fall, preferably within 3-5 miles of Merriam Park, 3.0 - 3.5+. I'm 28, looking for primarily singles practice/hitting right now with occasional set play. Anyone, male or female? I'm…"
Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I love the game and want to improve. I suppose I am in the 3.0-4.0 range, but I have only played a few times over the last 18 months. I would like to play regularly. I move well and can hit some solid shots, but I would like to focus on consistency, accuracy, the backhand, and technique in general. I also need to develop my serve. I enjoy practicing, hitting, and games here and there, so let me know if you want to play! I prefer a court within reasonable biking distance (within several miles) of Merriam Park.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Federer, Nadal, and others ...
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
NTRP 3.0, NTRP 3.5, If tennis is on TV - I am watching
Merriam Park is nearby, but I'm not aware of what all is available or nice in the area. I believe Central and Highland Park High Schools have nice courts, otherwise I'm open to checking out different courts.
