"Hey, Jake! It was fun today, we should do it again sometime next week, either Tuesday or Thursday@9:15am (heck, even both!) work for me. I plan on ordering some demos this Friday so I will be eager to test them out to come to a final conclusion of…"
Actually I had just bought the 2010 South Africa England shirt that day :) It was an impromptu visit to the Motherland and I got to cheer on my countrymen in their first game before they crashed out. No surprise there, really.
I recognised the 2005-07 England football jersey and thought I'd give you a shout. I know you have a rating of 4.0 whereas mine is closer to 3.5 but I would try to give you a good match up never-the-less. I have a very flexible…"
Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I have been playing tennis since the age of 16 when I was introduced to my Mom's wooden Dunlop racket with cat gut string and got blisters from playing down the local park for a few hours one day! Back when I had a lot of free time on my hands i.e. summers vacation from University me and a friend played about 6 hours a day, 5 - 6 days a week... that was when I was a young, sprightly 20 something. As for now I admit I don't play often enough. I love the game but time just doesn't seem to allow me to accommodate it as much as I would like. Since I work at UCSB I have access to the various tennis courts there. I would be available to play most weekday mornings for a couple of hours, either hitting around or actual games. My serve is rusty but I am a fairly competent all-courter. I have the ability to slice and topspin both forehand and backhand and can place the ball well.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Pretty damn good, NTRP 4.0
On the court, I am a:
lefty, slicer, singles player, one-hander, top-spinner, all courter
My favorite local courts:
Hand Christian Anderson Park, Solvang

I have a very flexible work schedule so can play during the mornings on weekdays and can also get out to UCSB to make things easier for you.
