Tennis-Parents BewareWhen I was teaching in a club atmosphere I controlled the development of my students on a weekly basis, now teaching at a resort I don’t have that luxury, but the weather is great. "Agree, Bill. I offer my students all of the basic strokes, not just whatever is the latest trend. I want them to know all of them and be able to use the appropriate one when necessary, like selecting tools from a tool box."

Tennis-Think of Your "Butt"

This article will not be too wordy but will have a lot of pictures.

When discussing the proper way to hit strokes many things are covered, however not too often where the correct alignment of the butt of the racquet should be. In many cases if the butt is correct the rest may follow suit. So, let’s begin with the backside- the butt.
