It was really hot and dry that day. I could just see the toll it was taking in the way they were playing. The ladies were still giving it their all.

Yes, these ladies give 110%!! This series of pictures were taken during the final against Radwanska at the Mercury Insurance Open 2011.  Lots of fine tennis was played that week.

These are great photos, but I was not happy to see Zvonareva injured or in pain. It makes me say yikes and ouch.
