Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Moved here from the east coast, where I was very involved in my tennis community. Started playing in high school, played for the team there, as well as our college club team. During all this time I worked as a coach both for the city and for private clubs, where I was very proud to be the coach of three separate teams, each winning the city championships!!! Kids rule, but anyways, I've slowed down in my play over the past couple years due to injuries and a busy schedule, but now I'm looking to get back into it. UPDATE: I haven't been on here in a while due to working a long and hectic work schedule, but I've decided to rededicate myself and start playing a bit more tennis, both for fun and for my health. Sorry to those I haven't responded to in the past, but let me know if you're interested. Weekends work best as I work long days. :-)
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Sampras, Safin
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
NTRP 4.0, NTRP 4.5, Not bad., If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.
On the court, I am a:
rightie
My favorite local courts:
Will probably start playing at La Cienega...need to find more local courts...

Anything around the Park La Brea area, the free-er the better...

Other faves are:

North Hollywood Park
Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park
Millbrook Exchange Park (East Coast)
Cary Tennis Center (East Coast)
Pine Valley Country Club (East Coast)
I'm from the east coast where it's free to play...errrggghhh....

    Hi Chase,

It would be great to play a match. I am a solid 4.0 player and live in Sherman Oaks.

The best time for me to play is after 6:00 on weekday nights and on the weekend. When would be best for you? Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Joe
