I've been playing tennis since high school, but only occasionally, so I'm still only an intermediate player. I'd rate myself a little higher if it weren't for that little consistency issue. If I start playing more frequently, I might be able to do something about that. I'm involved in a lot of other sports as well, though in the winter it tends to be skiing and snowboarding. I'd enjoy both just hitting or playing a match. I prefer singles because it's more exercise and offers more practice. No preference for male or female as long as we're roughly at the same level.

    Dear Rick:  I'm glad you wrote.  There is a group of seniors that meet at Bend High School at 9:00 each morning.  You're quite welcome to join in.  We love newcomers of any skill level.     Thank you for the invitation to play but I'm more of a doubles man now. Sorry if my last message was confusing as to where the senior group plays. They are currently at Bend High School which is near Juniper Park. Bend High is at the corner of NE 6th and NE Emerson. Hope to see you there.
