    I had the problem of trying to figure out where to play when I arrived in Fresno about a year ago. The best public courts are in Clovis West HS, Buchanan HS and the middle school next to it, I think it is called Sierra, and Clovis North HS. There are courts as well at Bullard HS but the lights are bad, and 2 courts are without nets and there is no barrier between courts. There is also a midle school I think on Fresno north of Herndon with courts. There are a few private clubs inlcuding Sierra, Fig Garden and Copper, and probably some others.

    The Clovis Tennis Club has a lot of league play. They also have a doubles pick-up at Buchanan on Wednesday at 7 pm, and Saturday at 10 am. There is a mixed on Sunday mornings. I have never been to the Saturday morning, and only once to the Wednesday evening doubles.
    I play in the evenings, and if you are interested in singles we can get together.
