Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Looking to play some tennis again after having some knee issues last year. I tested in the 3.0 to 4.0 range with the USTA a few years back. I like singles and doubles. Playing someone slightly better always a plus! Service is my weak point. My big reach needs mucho work, but when I ace one it feels ohhhhh soooo good!
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
I miss Boris. He always put it all on the line. Nobody has had more skinned knees then The Becker! Bjorn Borg is an other favorite from the past. He was on the quiet side, but what a class act. I used to love watching Jimmy Conners crumble during their matches. Bjorn would quietly wait for Jimmy to finish his temper tantrums and then finish him off. Great stuff!! It really was the golden age of professional tennis.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Hi John, well, it seems like tennisoplolis is rarely used as of late but I'm still gonna take a stab at it. I am new to North Scottsdale from Florida. I've been here for a week, haven't lifted a tennis racquet and ready to pull my hair out. lol I would be rated about a 4 and play as much tennis as i can. I enjoy just hitting but will absolutely play sets if asked. Pretty easy going on the court and just trying to rebuild my tennis schedule. Please let me know if you'd like to hit...
