    I am a beginner also, I would be happy with some easy serves and some volleying to get my muscles accustomed to the movement.
    I would like to try something in the evening, maybe 6 ish. Play for about an hour. I too am near downtown. The courts under I-110 between Maxwell and Cervantes are most always open.
    Tues or Weds work best for me. Would you like to try for next week?
