I am 42 years old (married with kids) and live in the north metro Atlanta area (outside of the Perimeter). I work in the IT industry - yeah, I know, big surprise for suburban Atlanta, huh? I play league singles on and off and am about a 2.5 to 3.0 level player. I'm always looking for a hitting partner just to get out and practice hitting - not serious competition - male or female, it makes no difference. I'm available most evenings and weekends. I am also a serious pro tennis fanatic both men's and women's and love to chat about the pro game.

    Hi Rob!

    Welcome to Tennisopolis! I created this tennis community so that people could meet to talk about the pros or create a local group to find hitting partners. We launched just two weeks ago. So I guess that makes you a charter member. :-)

    I see you found thte Forum - I'm so GLAD you are here - I needed someone to talk trash with in there. I really want to get more Pro Tennis fans in here to balance out the site. Do you have any contacts you could invite?


    Look through the Groups to see if there is already a group forming in your area. If there's not, don't hesitate to start your own.

    There's a lot of fun to be had on Tennisopolis. A good place to start is by customizing your page and adding a picture.

    Rob, I read your post about how busy you are. Did you know that you can add another Admin to your group if it is helpful? That's always a good idea, spread the work around to whoever is most interested. Just make sure that it is not some spammer that you turn the reigns over to.
