Well, I have been to San Pablo park, which is in Berkeley. I have been hitting against the wall, and played with some people once. Nice courts. There is another one off the North Berkeley Bart station that is small but nice. As I said I am still pretty new to the sport.

Sorry If I haven't replied back...I actually start tennis classes at a local college Monday(tomorrow), but I am always up to play on the weekends. I kinda just want to learn in a class setting at this point and practice on my own when I have the time. Do you play on the weekends?
