Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

    What can you do here?
    At Tennisopolis, you can:
    - meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
    - join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
    - follow the pros. There are over 500 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
    - improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
    - post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
    - add your own Photos.
    - and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 10,000 members and we're growing by 100 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

I suppose I am supposed to be asking to be your friend by following some link, but I don't really know how these on line groups work. I too just joined hoping to find partners, and noticed your recent membership. Maybe we could give it a go as we both profess to be casually returning to the game. As a fellow Johnny from the class of 85, I would love an exuse to come up and play.

    Annie,
'Left a phone message for you about noon today, sorry if I rambled. Again my regular partner is apparently too busy to even let me know our weekend morning play is canceled, so ...Maybe tomorrow sometime? Early is good for me except that I need to pick up a new can of balls.

    Hi Annie,
Let me know if you are interested in playing some tennis. You can email me at svleeds@aol.com - just put "tennis" in the subject line so I don't accidentally delete it as spam.

    Thanks!

    Hey Annie,
Did my texts come thru to you? I didn't realize your phone was not working anymore. I've played the last 2 sundays with a clinic/group that seems pretty fun. The teacher is taking off the next 3 weeks and then heading inside until it gets warmer. She will be available and I may avail myself of her/Monica but the price will be going up from $10 a shot to $25. It is a fairly large group that all plays at the Alto Street park, networking to play I suppose where ever it is convenient. I was supposed to meet up with a few of the guys this afternoon at 430, but my lower back was freezing up, and work had me busy until 630 anyway. Hopefully this pain cycle in my back is already ending. If so I might be able to play Wed.or Thurs. late in the afternoon. Ron
