Hi! It's great to have you here! This is my *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Hi Darryl - Yes there are lots of tennisplayers in the desert although I know its quickly getting very warm and many of the snowbirds have gone home. If you stay at a local resort with tennis they will always match you with players - either people staying at the hotel or locals. I am new to this site but seems like you could find someone to play on here. I would be interested in playing if you decide to come out. Where is Saddleback?
Wow you are serious! Unfortunately I work full time so couldn't play all that often but am certainly willing to play one night with you. I love just hitting as hard as I can but also like playing singles if possible. Sounds like Saddlebrook may have more tennis than here, although I'm not sure if there are resorts that have the same type of thing here. Just remember if you do come out I would recommend you do it soon as it was 100 degrees yesterday! Just let me know
Ha! Given all the people who have put me on thier "friends" list in the past 12 hours I sort of get the feeling this is a dating website! Good thing I'm single then! I have met several partners playing tennis and it is fun to have something in common. However one ex of mine and I did join a tennis club together and it didn't go so well because I was a much stronger player which made for some insecurities! So the lesson is to find someone who is at a similar level as you. So what do you do in PA? I manage a marketing department for a Fortune 50 company and work mostly from home which allows me to live in such a beautiful place.
By the way, I don't doubt for a minute that some of the guys requesting your friendship are interested in pursuing some sort of relationship with you. It wouldn't surprise me, however if they were also genuinely interested in playing tennis ... and perhaps they are looking for the aforementioned holy grail (you know, tennis playing girlfriend). I'm sure it's difficult not becoming cynical about these things being a woman and all, but a lot of us knuckledraggers really do have good intentions :-)
Hi Darryl - I think that men just want to find an attractive woman who plays tennis either just for tennis or tennis and love! Either way, I don't have any preconcieved ideas about it, I just thought it was curious that I kept getting men putting me in their friends list. If I knew it was going to be like this I would have written a more extensive bio and put up a better photo of myself! So have you made your decision about where you are going to go for your vacation?
Hi Darryl, in my country almost every Svetlana is called Ceca and that's my nickname too!
But it's to complicated to spell it on English so I prefer to be called Lana.
Hello there Darryl - I hope you remember me. I'm sorry I appeared to fall off the face of the earth. Had been in a temultuous relationships on and off for the past 6 months and we tried to make it work again, but alas, 4 weeks ago it ended permanently. In fact I have told my friends that if I EVER contimplate going back to call the mental unit at the local hospital and have me brought in immiediately! So last thing I head from you I believe you were moving to CA? Would love to catch up... Hope to hear from you.
I just moved to Cincinnati, and I would like to play someone who is 4.0/4.5/5.0. Let me know if you are available and we could play in a public court when weather permits. I am not a member of any club. tks !
I would not mind hitting with you but I am afraid that you might be out of my league, since I am at best an advanced beginner. I am not really sure how to rate myself. And I live in our vicinity with courts really close by.
Darryl let me know when you get back...I apologize for not being able to play thursday...work is taking over my life, I guess that is a good thing. Anywehre close to tri-county is good with me. Later !
Hey -- I just moved to Cincinnati last week and am looking to hit. I'm available weekends, weekdays after 5:30 and Wednesdays after 1pm -- I'd love to hit Wed afternoon if that works for you. Pleasant Ridge or Lunken Airport courts would work for me. I'm a 4.5 player. Also if you're around this weekend that would be cool too. Casey
Hi. I might be able to hit tomorrow and/or thursday on the LES courts. I'm about a 4.0-4.5. If your offer is still available, please let me know. My email is tliu8888@gmail.com
Hey Darryl.. Hope all is well for you in NJ...If you ever come though Cinci give me a call and I would love to play you at those courts by Ridge Ave. I still have the same number. Later!
I'm quick and ready for hitting groundies and practicing; just trying to improve my timing and get a good work out. My level is 4-4.5, in good shape and have a permit. I’m mostly available to hit in Brooklyn area (Bridgeview Club, Kaiser Park, Marine Park, Manhattan Beach, Prospect Park, Ft Greene) courts.
Let me know if you ever want to hit.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
