Looking to play in the Phoenix/Tempe area on saturday mornings.

I am absolutely perplexed about the topspin back hand concept.

You know, I could take your comment as an insult...I mean, just because I am a girl, doesn't mean I expect anything less on the tennis court...but I'll take this as a challenge :)

I am currently sidelined by a cold, but I should be in full force by this Saturday, so it's definitely a possibility. If you are available, how late can I let you know whether I am good to go or not?

First, sorry about not telling you anything about this Saturday.

Unfortunately, I am unwilling to get up earlier that necessary for any reason, so weekdays aren't an option for me - I have to be at work around 9am. Which leaves Saturdays. But I often go out of town on weekends, so not every Saturday is actually open.

I am gone for the next two weekends, but after that I should be in town for some time. Are evenings an option at all for you?

How about this weekend - either Saturday or Sunday - say, around 7am? My cell phone is 804.319.6186 - might be more efficient to figure this out.

Hi Hutch, yes, I am still very interested in playing. However, I admit I do not well in the heat. I live in both Scottsdale and Flagstaff, so I have shifted my tennis game up north for a bit. My name is David and we are very interested in playing tennis every night at Rose Mufford Sports Complex. I was playing tennis all the time ten years ago and I am excited about getting back into it on a daily basis. When I played tennis 10 years ago, I played a lot . When I get back into the skill set again, I have a super serve and can do well with doubles. I am healthy, 55 and work right down the street from Rose Mufford. We have two others from my work that will play doubles and one of them is very good. He has an excellent serve and is very very good. I am from Arkansas and they are from India.

Yes I am still interested. The one I mostly go to is a public court

I chose it because Saturdays mornings maybe busy, there is an other one within half a mile just in case.

If free way 101 is easier for you, there is a pair of new courts west of 101 south of union hills, called Apache Park, see link

So sorry Hutch .. I haven't been on this website for a while .. I've been on the go the last few weekends!!! I think I am hiking Camelback this Saturday and am canoeing Lower Salt River Sunday .. not sure about next weekend yet supposed to be kayaking the Verde river but this may be called off ... I am still interested in playing!! I will leave a comment when I am free. ;) I hope you're not mad :( Where are the courts that you mentioned and do you have to pay to play there?

I'm going to be canoeing Saturday morning at the Lower Salt River. I was hoping to maybe play Sunday morning? I am a lazy couch potato in the evenings after work ... ;) I need to get out of that awful habit. I won't be around the weekend of the 24th .. will be camping and canoeing at Fools Hollow Lake. Hey hutch! I have so much packing to do in the next coming weeks. I will be camping all of next weekend and will be in the Glamis dunes the last weekend of the month and then the week after that will be the move. My parents wil be arriving shortly after the move, so I will have to say no. I would love to play though in the next season's league. =)

I'm going to have to pass on the league this season. I 'm camping this weekend and then will be in the dunes the last weekend of the month. I have so much packing to do. I move on the 3rd then my parents will be out shortly after. I will have a lot more time on my hands for the next season though. =)
