Kara, thank you for inviting me. I just moved home from the panhandle a few weeks ago. If I can dig my racket out of the mounds of storage this afternoon, I will definitely be there tomorrow morning. Wed nights are softball and Thurs nights are my volleyball nights so next week I won't be able to make it but maybe the week after that I can.

Very cool. Set it for whatever day is best for everyone, and if I can get there, I will. My week is such a toss-up. lol I am actually going to be moving to the area in a couple years. I'm looking to build a little friend base right now. That way when I move in, I'll know some people to have over for bbq! lol My mom lives in Converse, so that's my motivation for visiting AND for moving there. I'm not that good a player, and I haven't played in a few months...but would love the chance to get to a hit. Thanks again! Look forward to meeting you soon!

I played my leaguetennis match at 4.0 and I CHOKED!!!! I was up 4-1 in the first and ended up losing it 7-5. I went up 3-0 in the second and lost it 6-3! How in the H.E-double L did I let that happen! One thing I can say is that I am waaaay outta shape. I think I blacked out from lack of oxygen a couple of times and went through 4 bottles of gatorade :-) Damn I feel old.

Hey - I heard a rumor that you are / have been trying to get a group of women together to hit and play. I am moving to SA in early January and would love to get in on that. I haven't played since the summer, but I was a 3.0-3.5ish. Let me know if you have anything going on! I am currently living in Sweden, and there is 8 inches of snow outside, so the thought of warm tennis is thrilling! Thanks!

Thanks for replying back. I hope you get to feeling 100% better so you can get out and enjoy yourself. Yeah, I did comment on a lot of other profiles, but no responses yet. I'm going on vacation to California on May 13th through May 26th, so I kinda hope to find someone to play with before I leave (May 4th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, and 11th) are the dates I'm looking at. In case you know someone who is up for a game on those dates, I would appreciate you passing the word along. Oh and I'll take you up on a game of tennis once you are better.
