Hey Girl! We WON our first match last night! What a tough one to start the tourney!!! They were excellent sandbaggers at 4.0, but then, SO WERE WE!! hahahaha! We won it in 3 sets - 6-7 (Lost the first set in a tiebreak 7-0!!!), 6-3, 6-1.... Took almost 3 hours! That's the kind of match you WANT to play and WIN!!!

I'll keep you posted about today's play results!!!

okay.. so here's the update.. David and I made it to the Finals on Sunday.. BUT IT RAINED OFF AND ON ALL DAY and we didn't get to play it!!! Dang!!! Anyway, we've made arrangements to play our opponents at another date and time.. the tournament officials gave me the plaques and told me to let them know when we're playing this match because THEY WANT TO COME AND WATCH.. Our matches were so terrific that it was "the buzz" of the tourney :-) We took out the #1 Seeds in the Semis in a 3-setter that was both tough and friendly.. Lots of great memories from this one!

Since we were rained out in the Kingwood area, and it didn't rain at Westside, we played our league match at 6pm.. We both won our lines, plus our team won one more line (I was on 1 and he was on 4), and our team remains in 1st place..

It was a great weekend overall :-)

Welp, my weekend looks pretty full just this weekend but, I have some mornings free during the week and next weekend for sure.
Are you available Fri eves or Sat mornings and maybe Sun eves?
Where are you located. I am in central phx, but am able to travel pretty much any where in the scotts, phx, mesa, tempe etc areas!

Hi Carrie, I just moved to Phoenix from Chicago. I'm looking to play anytime after 6pm or anytime on weekends. I live in Ahwatukee I know the courts are open till 10pm at E Thunderhill Pl & S Ray Rd. So would you like to play sometime?

Yeah I know monday would be good because I will just be Polyurethaning the wood handrails. tue-fri I might work past 3pm to get the handrails installed. My clients want it done for Saturday so I might have to really push my self hard to get a lot of work done. If you want just give me a call tomorrow (708)638-8669 anytime after 3:30pm.
