Hi Rock! It's great to have another Cincy area player here! Doug started a Cincy Group – join that to meet other players in your area. If you need any help, let me know.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.
Oh, I see you are the manager of HPTC. I was telling Doug that you could create a Group here for HPTC and add logos and invite your members. Groups here have a lot of powerful functions - you can use the Forum as a bulletin board and you can send message (announcements) to all members. You can also make the Group private so only your registered members can join. Furthermore, once the Cincy Group takes off, then you can send invites to those folks and network better. I can help get it set up if you need.
Mark
Thanks Mark, I was going to send individual tennisopolis invitations with personalized messages to members of HPTC and the Indoor Club. I will take more time, but I think the personal touch will be worth the effort. Once we all get on board it will be easier to "mass communicate".
I am having a problem transferring something from a MySpace Page that I would like to appear on this site as well. Please visit www.myspace.com/andersonky and find the Hyde Park "fliptrack" presentation and let me know if there is any way I can get it to work with tennisopolis, or if you have a similar gadget to recommend...
Rock, I just saw your note below. I think that fliptrack or something like it could work here. I suggest that you go ahead and start your new Group for HPTC, and you can make me an Admin (and Doug for that matter) and I can help you get it "branded". Then you can send personal invites to that group and when your members join, they will be members of tennisopolis but also will already be members in the HPTC group. Let me know when you have the group setup and if you need any help adding me as an admin. (I'd rather you or Doug set it up, because it will say "Rock started this Group.)

I can't play before 5:30 any work day as I don't leave work until 4:30 at the earliest. It's even challenging to play regularly any given day of the week given variable evening meetings. I welcome the opportunity substitute from time to time. Then, maybe, I can work up to a regular position.
Thanks for carrying me in this weekend's tennis matches! And for being soooo patient while waiting for my game to finally come around in the end. You have the sharpest tennis mind I have ever witnessed in thirty years of playing tennis. I appreciate your strategic coaching tips and on-court wisdom. I'd take lessons from you, anytime!!!
Just opened your message from weeks ago regarding Gourmet Open event. I hope to see you tonight at Eastern for the event. Thanks for the suggestion of getting with Angie, however, I happened upon another partner in the interim.
Hi,
We're running a fun Aussie 09 Bracket Challenge for tennis fans. Make your predictions and follow along. This is the link. Please share this link with any of your friends on Tennisopolis and beyond.
Hi Rock and thanks for your note. I am so glad you have found Oscar's method helpful to your tennis game! I hear the same story over and over again. I love your photos! One question, though. How does that one guy hit a tennis ball with that big fish? You seem to be part of a very dedicated tennis community. I hope all those players are utilizing Oscar's techniques to up their games as well! Oscar and I would love to come to your club to conduct a seminar with you and all your tennis mates. If you are interested please contact me via my website at www.tennisteacher.org and please keep participating in my tennis group here on Tennisopolis.
Where are you? Haven't seen you on the site lately. Hope all is well. The Cincinnati clinic with Oscar didn't materialize because of some court issues with the prospective host. Would you be able to come to Orlando, Florida for either of our 2-week camps? We'd love to see you there, back on the forums, etc. Let us know what's going on with you and your tennis scene! Lucy

Thanks. Having someone like you in the tennis community (and general society?) is what makes life and tennis so great.
