Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I fell in love with Tennis when I watched Becker win Wimbledon as a 17 year old kid.
As for my own tennis career: I'm primarily looking to play long rally sessions or sets -- to work on making my groundstrokes more consistent, especially with topspin. I love to volley whenever possible as well, though there's some scope for improvement in my baseline-to-net transition :)
I think my upwardly mobile rating is currently somewhere north of 3.5. Need matches with players with solid ratings to confirm this I guess :) And I'm guessing I need only about 9,800 hours of solid practice before I crack the top 5 in the ATP :-)
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Federer, Becker, Sampras, Henin

Hey, I must have just missed you on IM. I am actually demo-ing through TS right now, so if you sign up too, let me know! We can compare notes! I'm out of town the rest of this week, but let's set up a time to rally when I get back!
I think this Sat some of the regular players in the group are going to Carmel to play on clay courts, so I wasn't sure who was actually showing up. You should check with Chris or Semisi about it. Are you definitely going? I've been travelling a lot and wasn't sure how tired I'd be on Sat. I'll let you know what I decide on Friday.
I can usually play any day, in the mornings or afternoons. I work a lot of evenings, but then there aren't that many courts with lights . . . e-me at bobolonius at hot mail dot com
