Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
My time and location preferences are public courts in the Midtown/Buckhead area, generally any time after 6:00 on weeknights.
I prefer singles, but I can play doubles too.
I'm open to just rallying, or more formalized matches. I'm not looking for ultra-serious competition, but I want a better workout than just social hour messing around on the courts!
I played in high school, but since then I typically only play on occasion in the summer. I'd consider myself a "decent" and "consistent" player right now. The more court time I get, the quicker it comes back to me. I'm probably closer to 3.5 than 3.0.
I tend to prefer to play with people who are around my age (twenties)... if for no other reason than b/c I can confirm their identity on facebook beforehand! But that's flexible... I'm not looking for a love connection, just someone of compatible skills and court demeanor.
Contact me here or at KMNug20@yahoo.com if you might want to try to set up a time to hit.

Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
We're running a fun Aussie 09 Bracket Challenge for tennis fans. Make your predictions and follow along. This is the link. Please share this link with any of your friends on Tennisopolis and beyond.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
