The US Open is already here, so NOW is the time to come make your picks in the US Open Bracket Challenge sponsored by Avery Tennis.

    Little known facts:
    1. It's free.
    2. It's fun.
    3. The Grand Prize is a new Avery M3 Control racquet.
    4. Do I need any more reasons?
    5. It's more fun to follow the tourney when you have points at stake.
    6. Bragging rights.
    7. OK, I'm all out...

Come fill in your bracket, more info here.

Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".

    What can you do here?
    At Tennisopolis, you can:
    - meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
    - join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
    - follow the pros. There are over 500 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
    - improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
    - post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
    - add your own Photos.
    - and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 12,400 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

Sounds good... What days are typically best for you? Where is your office located?
  • LuvTennis

Lunch time tennis is so tempting, but a bit hard. After-work tennis works better for me.
  • Michael

My office is also next to Bridgepointe at 951 Mariners Island Blvd . Friday works. Do you know of a nearby court we could use? I know there are the Edgewater Courts on the other side of 92. There are also a few courts next to our office, but I think they may be private. I'll check. What's your cell?
  • Michael

Thanks for the hit today. It felt great to get out there at lunch.

  • Conrad

    Hi,

Let me know if you are interested in playing during lunchtime. Im out for the holiday season, but we can start mid-Jan or once the weather gets better.
  • Conrad

    Yeah,

I work in Redwood Shores, and live in SM, so lets get together sometime mid-Jan when I get back from vacation.
  • LuvTennis

Ok. Will let you know if I'm on your side of the bay.
  • Conrad

I can play Mon-Fri during lunch if given enough notice. Redwood Shores work for you?
