Hey, a fellow newbie from Scottsdale! I just signed up too. Still looking to get out and play with someone though. What part of town?

Hi Kristine, I'm in Grayhawk, just north of the 101. I'm also getting back into the game and need lots of practice. And a new racquet probably! And did I mention lots of practice? My schedule varies week to week but I really want to get out.

    Hey Kristine,

I saw that you're right down the street from me. I play at Scottsdale Ranch Park. Are you interested in hitting later this week?

Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".

    What can you do here?
    At Tennisopolis, you can:
    - meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
    - join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
    - follow the pros. There are over 500 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
    - improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
    - post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
    - add your own Photos.
    - and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 12,000 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

I've been looking to get back on the courts myself. I live in Glendale, but I'd be willing to go out to Scottsdale/Tempe area. Just let me know if you wanna get together some time.

    Hey Kristina,

I disappeared from my tennis game for about a month ... but am up for hitting. You around this weekend? I think you live right down the street. I'm near 92nd/Shea and hit around here and at Scottsdale Ranch Park. Looking to hit on Sat. if you're up for it.

    Hi Kristine,

Are you still looking for people to play with? If so, just let me know. I live in Tempe, but play in Scottsdale a lot.

    Cheers,

OK great. Is there a time that you're free to play?

oh, i didnt know it was a requirement to comment on your page as a member? but here's goes. although i live and play tennis in gilbert, i've been to scottsdale to go clubbing, so im sure the tennis courts are the same. if anything, they might be a lil bit trendier and have a more contemporary feel to them. which im fine with. I have a well rounded game and my change over game is even more impressive. its my 1-2 winning punch. weekdays are tight but can do weekends. Good day,

Hi Kristine. Thanks for the add! I'm looking to get to know some gals who play in Scottsdale around my level, 2.5 - 3.0. :)

I was looking forward to doing it this week now that I'm back in town, but the weather is not being cooperative. Too bad they don't have indoor courts somewhere around here.
