Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
I'd love to play. 6:30 sounds pretty good. I've got something tomorrow, and the Lakers playoff is Tuesday. How 'bout Wed.? Where are you? I'm West side/Santa Monica/Venice. Usually play over toward Penmar Park on Rose.
If you're down with playing, please e-mail me directly: dfraiche@earthlink.net
Amy: Your level of play is not a prob. It's better, actually. I really just like to hit and volley and run around and sweat. I could use some work on my serve, but as long as you can hit it across and I can, we'll have fun. No pressure whatsoever. If you know a good place to play, I can meet you around, say, 6:30 on Wednesday.
I've played once at a place on Overland and Culver, and I also know a place down on Alla south of Washington. Kinda depends on what part of CC you're in.
Let me know.
-Doug Try my personal e-mail: I'm on that all the time. dfraiche@earthlink.net
Hey Amy! I hadn't played in years either until a couple of months ago, so we're probably pretty evenly matched. Do you work a 9 to 5-er? So we could play like 6-ish on a weeknight?
Mark / The Mayor
Invite your friends too. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
