    Hey, how do I figure what my rating should be? Do I have to go in tournaments? Everyone's idea of "not bad" is different so it would be nice to have something a little more specific on my page. Thanks!

    Hi Lianne! The easiest way to figure it out is to play someone that knows their rating and then see how you stack up, and adjust accordingly. I play all the time, have a good game, and I'm a 4.0/4.5 - so "not bad" is probably 3.0. but as you say that could vary depending on who's saying it. Here's a helpful page to help your "self-rate."
