Hi DANIELLE! It's great to have you here!

This is our *new* generic welcome message that fortunately,is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)

Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

    Welcome aboard,
    Mark

  • Elliot B.

I'm just as rusty as you....I'm trying to pick tennis back up after not playing for 2 years. I'm a young guy (20), so I have the endurance to play, but I could really use some practice. Would you be interested in a practice session out in the 'burbs?

    Hi Danielle,

I keep trying to find players who'll play on weekday mornings/early afternoons (ah, so many free courts!) Saw your message saying you like those times too, so if you ever want to hit MWF daytimes, feel free to invite me. Ta,

    pt.
  • Paul

Cool, glad to hear it. Well have a nice trip, and I'll take the time to stock up on tennis balls.
  • Paul

Hey Danielle, this is very short notice, but looks like my game today has fallen through, so if you'd like to play I'm up for it. Though I am sorry to give you so little time to respond.
  • Paul

Well, I was so sure I'd have more time free this week than I have... anyway, available Friday afternoon? I'll be apartment-hunting from 11 - 1, so will probably be able to start around 3pm, depending on location.
  • Paul

Heh, well, if you really want to go to the beach, I would hate to stop you. Otherwise, since you're working, you should really choose a court closest to you, and I'll likely make it before 3 as it is.
  • Paul

Up in Ravenswood? Where I'm heading to check out places, funnily enough. I can get there by 2:30, I imagine.
  • Paul

Alrighty then, but don't rush over there, because I might be late (I hear the trains are running slow again). I can be reached at any point today at 312-860-0052. It's my girlfriend's phone really, so if you do call ask for me.
  • Paul

Argh, I am so sorry! I hopped in a cab from downtown at 2:40, thinking it'd at least get me there by 3:10, but it took an hour instead!

Anyway I'm obviously incredibly stupid, but if you could forgive me for ruining your day and try to play again, I can promise I won't try anything so ridiculously time-squeezing again.

    Just again, my abject apologies.
  • Paul

Well, I am still sorry, but glad you aren't pissed or anything. Free tomorrow? I'm going to head north for a long overdue trip to the barbers as it is, so I'll be near Welles Park around noon.
  • Paul

Friday's cool, so long as it doesn't rain. Hows about Welles 1pm? I'm free all day, mind.
  • Paul

Hey Danielle, can we play at 12:30 instead? Supposedly there's rain due some time after 2pm, just being cautious.
  • Paul

Alright, not a problem, some other time then.
  • Lina

    Hi Danielle,

I am also looking for a consistent tennis partner. I usually play at Oz park. My schedule is pretty flexible but mornings are best. Let me know if you would like to schedule a game.

    Lina
  • Lina

Great! Monday morning sounds good. Oz Park is at 2021 N Burling St. in Lincoln Park. I am crazing the outdoors these days...we can always switch to midtown on rainy days. Let me know what time on Monday works for you and if Oz Park is okay!
  • Lina

How about 9:30 at Oz Park? Can we switch to email as it would be easier. Please email me to confirm at zaza1280@gmail.com. Thanks Danielle!
