Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Really love the game of tennis, but never have taken a lesson. Currently playing with a few people from church, and they all played in high school and I can hang with them pretty well. I'm naturally athletic - but have been out of shape for the past seven years or so. (Hence, setting up this profile and joining the site). Great sense of humor - just looking to hit around!
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Murray, Rafa, Fed (current)
Sampras, Chang (past)

Hey man,
Awesome! Someone from Hyde Park. We should definitely play at Hyde Park. I am not exactly sure what courts u were mentioning, maybe u can give me the exact location. I play on the courts on 53rd street, near Lake Shore Drive. Lets hit around some time. Dont expect too much from me tho, i'd say I'm a beginner. But I did play in highschool, which isn't saying much. Haven't played for ~ last 3-4 yrs. Picking it back up this summer.
There's a set of courts at 58th & Doerchester - right behind the Lab school. 5 courts, kept real nice. I usually go there because I have yet to see all 5 being used. Completely bare during the week, M-F.
Expectations? None here. Like I mentioned, I myself am basically just looking to break a sweat and have fun doing it. I never even played in high school - so you're already one up on me. I'm basically looking to work on my form more than trying to win the game. Of course - I'm a human so I'm competitive, so I'll always do my best. But, like you - I'm just getting back into the game so I'm sure it's all good!!
I can meet you up at the 53rd st. courts - I've passed them up before, so I know where they're at. This week's not looking too good for me (the only time I've got free is Friday morning/afternoon - if that works for you, cool). Next week, however, I'm pretty wide open.
Hit me back with a couple day/times that work for you, and we'll figure something out.
