Hi Aaron,
Saw your post on the VADC groupo. I was a 4.5/4.0 rated tournament player back in HS. I stopped when I got to college and just started playing again about a month ago for the first time in 8 years, getting my feel back by hitting with the kid who was #3 at Swarthmore College (div 3) last year. To be honest, my level of consistency still fluctuates, but I did manage to beat him in a tiebreaker yesterday, which was a shocking and happy moment.
Anyway, if you're interested in hitting sometime, get back to me. I work more or less on the Hill, live in Old Town, but am willing to hit anywhere.
Are you free to hit on Sunday, 8/10? I've got a car and can meet anywhere. Do you know how to send a private message on this site? I can't figure this thing out and I'm hesitant to post my personal contact info on a comment wall....
How abt these courts - Bluemont Park, 601 North Manchester Street Arlington, VA 22203
It's abt 10 miles for me and probably similar distance from DC. Weekdays 5.30 pm and after are usually ideal if that works for you.
