Just moved from South Florida to Rochelle, IL for work, looking for some local players to get on the court with, I started playing seriously about a year ago and have improved quickly, but have only played (albeit very often) with a handful of friends, so not sure how good I am. Either way, just looking to have fun, cross-train and most importantly, not regress due to inactivity.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Rafael Nadal (fellow lefty/sleeveless-shirt-wearer/countryman, I'm a tri-citizen), Roger Federer (class act), Andy Roddick (showing improvement in '09), Andy Murray (saw him live @ Sony Semis, think he'll be #3 if not #2 by end of '09).

New to the area... in Fort Lauderdale, I played at the Jimmy Evert courts with the occasional trip down to Crandon Park (home of the Sony Ericsson Open).

    This week is a little bit busy for me. Is Friday the only day you would be free next week? Monday and Tuesday is good for me. Wednesday afternoon only, and then Thursday and Friday afternoon only. How about planning on coming up here to play. I do not know if the high school in Rochelle allows outsiders on their new courts yet.

    That is fine Juan. I am glad you are a lefty. It has been awhile since I hit with one. I like playing against lefties, because it is a different experience. Plus looking for a doubles partner who is lefty too. ;)

    1pm is fine. How about meet at Rockford College. When you come into the college their will be a big parking lot on your right. Go into the lot and their will be a road that will incline and the tennis courts are straight ahead.
