Profile Information:

I am a:
Tennis Fan, Tournament/ League Player
Neighborhood or other helpful location info:
San Francisco, California
Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Hello, I am 29 years old and I just moved to San Francisco to live with my girlfriend. I am from Baltimore, MD where I played at the 3.5 level for the past 3 years. When I was back home I would typically get out to play 2 to 3 times per week during the summer and had a good group of competitive 3.5 or 4.0 players that I would play either singles or doubles with. I like to be social and I'm a huge tennis fan, but I prefer to play competitive matches, and I'm looking to join either a 3.5 or 4.0 team in the San Francisco area. I currently live in Inner Sunset.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Roddick(seen him play numerous times in person and I currently use his racket--he's very entertaining in his charity benefit matches)
Nadal(but really who isn't?)
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
NTRP 3.5, NTRP 4.0, If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.
On the court, I am a:
singles player, gamer, top-spinner, tournament goer
My favorite local courts:
New to the area, very anxious to explore and find out!
Relationship status:
In a Relationship

    HI Scott,

I can't play this week or weekend, but can play anytime next week after work (500pm), or Saturday morning of next week. Just let me know what works for you?

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Hey Scott,

How about Wednesday at around 530pm. There are two courts at 39th Avenue and Ortega that have lights. If that's too far away, let me know and we can pick a closer spot.

Take Care and good luck with the job search.

    Scott,

I just found out today that I'll be working tomorrow night. Is there anyway we change our tennis meet up to next week (Tuesday or Thursday)?

Sorry about the change in plans.

Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".

    What can you do here?
    At Tennisopolis, you can:
    - meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
    - join a Group. Members have started over 230 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
    - follow the pros. There are over 1000 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
    - improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
    - post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
    - add your own Photos.
    - and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 15,000 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

I apologize for my late response. I've been out of town and busy with other stuff. Could you play tomorrow morning (saturday at around 10am).
