Hi! Welcome to the tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".

    What can you do here?
    At Tennisopolis, you can:
    - meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
    - join a Group. Members have started over 230 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
    - follow the pros. There are over 1000 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
    - improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
    - post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
    - add your own Photos.
    - and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 15,700 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

Hey there Thomas, I'd love to have a hit sometime - are there indoor courts around Bethesda? Only issue for me is that I don't have a vehicle so it's not so easy to get to some courts - esp. in winter. cheers,
    Sarah

I can play Friday afternoons (after 2pm), before work on Monday or Friday (work starts at 10am), or anytime on the w/end. If any of those times and days can work out that would be great.

dad means father in my country. it is a way of showing respect for the elder men here. i respect you and that is why i always call you dad
  • OHENE

which pro are you talking to? i zm willing and ready to spend the 2-5 hours with the pro. to go to the top you must take risk and be committed so i am willing to accept any help you can give me. i do not want you to send me money. all that i wanted was a conducive country where i can reach my dreams and amy be america can be a better place. they have good training facilities and the conditions there are good. thank you and good luck
  • OHENE

hello dad,how are you.have you talked tothe pro? thankyou very much.
  • OHENE

thank you dad. actually my story is very different. i am just an ordinary person here in ghana. my mum sells groundnut in the streets and after school, i usually go to the tennis courts to pick balls for thr rich people who play. i can not pay for the equipments they use and usually they give me money for helping them when they play. i always immitate how they move on the court and how they balance their steps. it was then i realised that i can do better with my life but to be frank with you, i ahve not participate in any competitive game. it is a dream and i hope to reach it. i do not have money to attend tennis lessons and also hire a pro. THANK YOU AND GOOD HEALTH.
  • OHENE

i have been telling them but they rather advise me that here in ghana they play the tennis for fun. they are not into any proffessional bussiness as i want to be. that is why i think may be you can help because condition here in ghana is very harsh and if you do not take care you dreams will be cut short.
  • OHENE

thank you dad. i must appreciate that you have been a good source of help for me. i think it is time i stopped bothering you with my aspirations. i must carry on with my search for assistance. may be if destiny has it i will get someone who can help. i appreciate your advice and whatever you have done for me. may you live long so that in future you will see me participate in games like the wembledon, us open, australian open and more. thank you and good health. may GOD bless you.
