Hi! My name is Brian and I am 29 year old male. I just moved down to florida form ohio. I played about three times a week before i came down and since i've been down here I've only played a couple times. Here lately I've been going to the local tennis courts and looking to see if anyone is in the same boat as me, but I end up practicing on my serves the whole time because everyone has partners. Anyway, I'm looking for a tennis partner or a group to get involved with that meet up and play. I'm very competitive and have a passion for the sport. I'm willing to travel to play. So if anyone is interested or can help me out just let know. Thanks!

Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 50 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)

    Invite your friends too. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

    Welcome aboard,
    Mark

Hey Brian, I'm looking for someone to hit with during January/February as well. I'm in New Tampa off of Cross Creek Blvd (so I think I'm pretty close to you). I can hit almost everyday if you want.

    Let me know,

    -Lubomir

    Hi Brian,

I noticed that you left a message on Lubomir Sokol 's page. He and I have been communicating on tennisopolis about playing. Niether he nor I have much of an ability to get around right now. If you would like, can make it to USF, and are still liiking for someone to play tennis with just let me know. I'm up for jsut about anything, volleying, volley and serve, or just hitting the ball around, Doesn't matter to me. I just really want to get back on the court. Aned I would have a photo up but my laptop isn't currently working if that means anythng.

    Tom.

    Brian,

Sorry I didn't include this in my earlier message - but I just created a group here in the USF area. If you would like to , you can go there and do a post looking for people to play with in Pasco if USF is too far - of even create your own group. Either way I hope to hear from you.

    Tom.
