Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I live in St. Pete.(NE) and I'm l'm available most evenings after work to hit the ball around. Or, if you're more competitive i'm even up for matches. I'm a beginner and I have some talent, I'm looking for someone to play with on a regular basis to help me improve my game.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Hi! It's great to have you here! This is my *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Hi, Susan! Welcome to Tennisopolis. Check out the Court Time tab up top for upcoming events. Join us Friday night at the Harbour Island Athletic Club .... it is a fun event, great people, all levels of players. It isn't too far from Old NE, just take 4th St. to Gandy, over the bridge and Crosstown to downtown. The is a map on the Court Time post along with all the details.
I haven't played at North Beach. Is that by the Vinoy? I would love to play. However I am not that good; so, you would have to have some patients with me. But 6Pm is a good time.
Hi Susan, I saw your comment on Sylvia's page and I live in Old NE too. What do you think about you, Sylvia and me setting up a time to meet @ Crescent Lake? I have a walking club so I'm practically there everyday anyway. Let me know, hope to talk to you soon.
Lisa
Hello Susan, I am sorry it took a couple of days to get back to you. I have been moving furniture from my storage unit for a few days. Let's get together soon! I notice the comment that Lisa left about the 3 of us meeting at Crescent Lake, and I thought that would be a good idea. What do you think? I know Nancy is also looking to play at Crescent. Maybe we could all meet up there. Let me know.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
