Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Looking forward to being part of a community of folks that share my passion and want to stay in shape. The weather is starting to get beautiful so let’s go out and hit.
If you play in Marina, Venice, Santa Monica Culver city then lets get together to hit some balls.
I can play after 5:30 on Thursday, Fri, Sat and Sunday
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
It's great to have you here! We have about 4 LA area groups going, look thru them and if none is in your area, start a new one. Have fun. Thanks for joining.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members. We launched Tennisopolis just three weeks ago, so you are a charter member. :-)
To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
I'm in the process of getting my drivers license and until I get it I think the court that is right in between us, La Cienega Tennis Center makes the most sense. Unfortunately it's one of the only courts accessible to me at the moment because I'll be on bike.
interested in adding a (temporary) partner? My name is Michael and I'm visiting my folks in L.A. (Marina del Rey) though Valentines day...and would love to find some my partners (used to play high school tennis...and with my step-Dad here, but he's not too active these days...). Leave your contacts here (phone if possible) so I can reach you...
Do you think we can do La Cienaga because Friday at 5 is it's going to be packed at Plummer where it’s first come first served where as in La Cienaga I can call and reserve a court?
Hey man! I'm sorry - I didn't see your comment on here!! My weekend from Friday onward has become unexpectedly busy... Can we do next Thurs or Fri at La Cienega?
hey there . . . Thursday nights aren't good for me to play tennis . . . but i am game for Friday, Sat, or Sun :) Let me know when you are free. If you want, we can go this Sunday. Send me a message here or heyslaughter@gmail.com . . . then we can exchange phone numbers.
hey - i'm moving to the city from the beach. I'm going to miss my guys that I hit with! Maybe we can hit sometime? Which are your favorite courts? I hear the LaCienega courts are cool.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore:
- come talk tennis in the forum
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark

Plummer Park (323) 876 8180
First come first serve during the week,
can get crazy busy after 5.
Poinsettia (323) 512 8234
Good courts but you need to make reservation.
It pays if you can only play after 5.
La Cienaga (310) 550 4767
GREAT courts but you need to make reservation.
It pays if you can only play after 5.
Fairfax HS
Very ghetto and it’s hit or miss if they are opened or not.
