Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Time to dust off the racquets and kick-start the old tennis game again. Ankle seems healed, although my timing and movement now officially suck. :)
Update: Fractured an ankle during a soccer match, and have been suffering through months of no tennis. I had also just started to do a little part-time coaching at a local junior program, but had to stop almost as soon as I began. Just a couple more weeks now and I'll be back on the court...
Hey everyone. What a cool site! About me: I grew up in Palm Springs, CA, and just relocated back to town after about 10 years in New York City. I played very serious tennis as a junior, but played baseball in high school and college, so tennis wasn't an option. I picked up at racquet again a few years ago with some friends who had played collegiate tennis in New York, and started pounding the fuzz with them just like old times. That absolutely re-hooked me on tennis. I ended up coaching a private high school team there for 3 years, during which time we won 2 NYC Independent School City Championships! I'd love to hit with anyone looking for an evening hitting partner. Casual hits are great too!
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
David Nalbandian
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Pretty damn good., NTRP 5.0, NTRP 5.5, If tennis is on TV - I am watching.
Hi Alex! We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Hello Alex
I live in the Bay Area but will be in Palm Desert for the month of March. I am a 4.5.
Would love to hit when I am in the desert

Hi Alex! Would you like to hit sometime? I'm pretty flexible with time so I can work with your schedule. Let me know, my email address is LstPhoenix@msn.com.
I see you are a Nalbandian fan. I took this photo at the Pacific Life Open. Here's a little decoration for you:
My other PLO pics are on my page. I got some pretty good ones.

Hey Alex. I've got a pretty good group of people to play singles or doubles. Would you be able to join us sometime? Email me at LstPhoenix@me.com. Thanks!

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore:
- come talk tennis in the forum
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
