Hi AK! It's great to have you here!
I see you already joined a Group – fantastic - introduce yourself in there to meet people for matches.
Please Invite your buddies. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

Welcome to the fun and infectious "community-based" tennis website which connects players, fans, coaches and pros.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.

Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

    Welcome aboard,
    Mark

  • Chris

  • Chris

oh Adrian, also please check the comments area in our group page, that's where we are setting up the meet ups, looks like we might have another one this saturday.
  • Rafael

    Hey Adrian,
I'll hit with you some Sat mornings. I'm a solid player and can keep up with the pace... I'll be in and out of town until early May, so let's try for something then, you in?
  • Patrick

Rinconada Park in Palo Alto at noon next Saturday the 19th. Be there with your game face... or maybe just some water and a racket. Heck, bring some beer if you want to. Just show up and have a good time. :)
  • Patrick

Canada College this Saturday the 26th at noon.

If you are willing to drive down that far, let me know. I can be there as early as 10am, if you want to hit a while.

I'd have messaged you sooner about getting some hitting time, but my son is young and I really can't promise to be a consistent hitting partner on the weekdays, especially after my wife goes to work. It's really just going to be Saturdays for me for quite some time.
  • Patrick

This Saturday, May 10th, we'll be playing and picnicking at Rinconada Park in Palo Alto.

Anyone and everyone is welcome. Bring anything you would like to share. Bring your family, too. There are grills in the park, so charcoal and burgers/hot dogs are definitely doable.

Please comment on the event page here so people will know what others are bringing.

And remember, most of us are new and don't know many others in the group, so feel at ease and feel welcome to join us. Meet some new folks and have a good time. Hope to see you there!

Please check out the court time tab. We play every Saturday morning at Canada College plus other times during the week (usually Tues, Thurs) that I post over the preceding weekend. I know you live up north and that's a long drive, but I'd love to see you on the court soon.
