Hi Ron- welcome to the Alamo Aces...thanks for being part of our growing group...we do a Saturday morning hit around at Clark High School from 8-10 am..open to all members all levels. This is for drills and hitting and working on your game...plus great chance to meet other members......hope you get a chance to get out and play soon..Check out the COURT TIME TAB on top of page for info about the hit around that is posted each week
there is a group message format..it is definitely the best way to leave a message for all group members..however..make sure you leave an email or phone # on it as members cannot reply to that message.

    Any questions just ask...welcome again!!

Check out our Saturday morning hitaround at Clark HS...its on the Court Time tab...its about 20 minutes from Boerne straight down I10 back to San Antonio..exit Dezavala..take a left and go down to HS about 2 lights past the HEB Supermarket...

Hope to get out and hit with you..

Tonight would probably work great. Let me know.

    Hi Ron,
Several of us play in Boerne on a regular basis. I have been playing singles pretty regularly with Sean (he lives in Boerne). I know Kim has been looking for someone to play with and Boerne works for him (he lives in Spring Branch). I'll contact you the next time Sean is not available.

Ron, couple of things..first the note below where you responded about playing tonight...make sure you hit my highlighted name in the message so that it post on my page..if you hit COMMENT BACK..it stays on your page...Tennisopolis is working on fixing that.
Second...to invite folks the easiest way right now is to invite folks from the group by sending a group message with contact info and when and where you want to play...
I know Sean lives in Boerne, Carl, Birdman, Kim are not far off and play in Boerne very regularly.
The group message tag is just above on the right side where it says leave the group...a box pops up..put in a title and right body of message...
This will then send an email to each person in the group and then you should get responses..
If you search the member site and find folks that are not members of the group you can leave a message on their page...
Hope this helps..didnt mean to be lengthy

Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".

    What can you do here?
    At Tennisopolis, you can:
    - meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
    - join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
    - follow the pros. There are over 500 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
    - improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
    - post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
    - add your own Photos.
    - and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 13,600 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

No problem. I hope you meet a ton of great people. I've played with SATennisguy (Charles) and he is really a good guy.

Hey Ron. I am currently in the Boerne area and would love to get together. I just moved home from the panhandle and if I can locate my racket in the abyss of my storage, I would love to get together just to sharpen my skills a little. Been out a couple of years but pretty sure I can still move around the court! Hope to hear from you
  • SATennisguy

Ron...how goes it...gotten a chance to get out and hit yet? LMK
Perhaps you can make the Saturday morning event if you get the chance...check out the COURT TIME tab for the info

Ron, at the Boerne City Park they have a backboard...and you will find that most like to play...myself..I like to play but I really like the workout aspect of the court time spent to improve my game with drills etc...I know you have to feed the horses, but you should try and make the Saturday morning hit around at Clark HS...I will be able to hit with you come next week..evenings are perfect for me as well during th week...keep the faith..get you on the court soon enough

I'm in Boerne and can play in the evenings...I usually hit with Scott (Birdman) twice a week, so I'm not up for more than one more, but let's definitely hit sometime...I'm the sales manager at Discovery Homes in Boerne, and I met you last week when you came in to look at some houses
