I also like to run for distance. I've been pushing a few friends of mine to sign up for the Channel Islands 1/2 Marathon in October, only two of them have actually started to train with me. Also, if I can tell you're giving in or letting me win just to get the game over with - I will also attempt to throw the game and draw it out that much longer!! Lesson: Don't be a sore sport!

My favorite local courts:
The best courts I've found around here are at Ventura College. The courts at Camino Real Park in Ventura are nice also, but there seems to be a clique of old guys that run the show.
