If I lived in Houston, we would absolutely play, but since I am in Florida I will have to wait until I'm out in Houston on business to play you, good luck and enjoy Tennisopolis!!
Hi John,
Thanks for responding to my tennis request. It's always great to meet new tennis hitting partners for great fun and exercise. There is a great tennis court complex in Jersey Village, not far from where you live.
Hi John,
I'd love to meet up & hit sometimes. I'm on 249 & Spring Cypress..the closest courts to me is at home or at Cyfair HS on Grant/Perry. It'd be tough for me to get out to Jersey Village since I've got 3 little girls (u have 3 boys??)...oldest being 5. I've just started playing last year, so I don't know if I can keep up w/u...but I definitely will take any pointers you give me. Let me know what you think...thanks.
This week is perfect..weeknites abt. 7pm is best for me. I've never played doubles before & have no partner...so how does that work? Any chance of us meeting up at Cyfair??
Where are CyFair courts? At CFHS? I'm new to the area. It's cool with me-7 pm. Just get back w me on directions. I can bring one or two people-and we can just hit --no need to play points the first time. John
John,
Sorry I didn't realized u had responded until I looked on ur page. The school is actually called Cypress Creek HS on 9815 Grant Rd (cross street is Perry). If your'e going South on 249, Grant Rd. exit is right before 1960 (Willowbrook Mall). Is it too late to meet today at 7pm? Tomorrow at 7 is good too. (281) 376-0651...let me know.
Hi John,
Yeah, it's always fun when I'm on the courts, although I was beaten pretty badly since I really never played "real" games before...I'm still learning tho! I'll be out there most weeknites, so let me know when you're coming & I'll meet u there.
I don't have a partner being that I am new to the area.
I had a liver transplant last year. That is why I need to do doubles.
I'll see if I can find someone. Just need to work back in to it easy...
The US Open is already here, so NOW is the time to come make your picks in the US Open Bracket Challenge sponsored by Avery Tennis.
Little known facts:
1. It's free.
2. It's fun.
3. The Grand Prize is a new Avery M3 Control racquet.
4. Do I need any more reasons?
5. It's more fun to follow the tourney when you have points at stake.
6. Bragging rights.
7. OK, I'm all out...
What does this week look like for you? Can you hit after 5pm? If not, maybe we can look the coming weekend. Please email me at internetaccts73@gmail.com as I don't check the site often.
Thanks,
Jim

Welcome to the site. I split time between Houston and Austin, but I'd be happy to play when I'm in town. I'm in the Heights.
Cheers,
Don.
