Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)

Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

    Welcome aboard,
    Mark

    Hello there,

Do you both play at Kailua racquet club??? If so, you will know some of the guys I play with. Gene Ching and Chris Kelly. I believe they play in the 50 and older group. I believe they are 4.0 if I am not mistaken. I live at Puu Alii in Kaneohe, the condos behind safeway. Coming from Kailua go to the cam hgwy towards windward mall drive to the aloha gas station take that right onto lilipuna st. Go up the street about 100 yards and on the left there is the Puu Alii waterfall wall. Turn left into the condo complex go up approx 200 yards bare right and go to the end. You'll run right into the tennis courts. Guest parking is right before the tennis courts on the left. You might know Mia Matsui, she lives and plays in Kailua as well. Anyhow just let know what time is good for the both of you. One of my friend's wife is starting to hit real well and I am sure you'll enjoy hitting with her. She is from Thailand so she don't like the sun as well. Ok have a good one and you can call me at 781-6291, whenever you want to come out.

    Thanks, Scott

No, we play at Kailua Rec. We know most of the Kailua Racquet Club players as many started at Kailua Rec. Yes, we know Mie well, she was on our winning HTL B team 30 years ago. I really don't do much hitting. I mostly play doubles. I'm mainly looking for Ron. My husband and I both play senior and super senior 3.5... we just qualified. Would there be 3 other men for 3.5 doubles on Friday mornings, say 8am?
  • Wavey

Hi, Lou Lom. I consider myself a solid 3.0 working towards getting back to a solid 3.5 if I can find enough time to get back on the courts and hit/practice. It's been a while for me and my swing doesn't feel natural, yet. People are generally surprised to hear that I just turned 38. I contribute that to being able to relieve stress on the courts. Besides anywhere on base Pearl Harbor, I've started playing at Ala Moana with Fernando and some of his friends.
  • RC

    No, not at the moment.
  • Rick

when do you play? what skill level? is this a league? or just pick up games, is this mixed doubles? singles? what age group?
  • Lou Lom

my husband just retired, he's a solid 3.5-4.0 player, looking for a good doubles match, Kailua, mon-thurs, 7-9am or 4-6pm or when it not hot. he usually plays senior and super senior 3.5 on cataract and vision center team, which usually is in the top 1 or 2 teams. how old are you?
  • Fernando

    hi!
yep, wavey and i bumped into warren a few weekends back in ala moana. we may try to play again this sunday afternoon for more doubles if you're interested.
  • Elizabeth

I like McEnroe too. Why do you like him?
  • Lou Lom

You look pretty fit. Who will be your KRC night doubles partner, or is it a strategic secret? We usually go every year to watch.
  • Lou Lom

McEnroe is the best. He is the best commentator with intelligent, helpful comments. People didn't like it because he complained about the calls. But he was always right when he questioned a call. Even now when he's commentating, he makes the right calls when he questions them. How would we like it if we lost $500k on a bad call? He was justified. Too bad he went downhill after his 1st marriage to a very bad influence on his life/tennis game (drugs/partying).

    Good morning,

I went and played at the diamond head courts before, they were ok, but I have 2 very nice tennis courts where I live. I don't like to travel and get stuck in traffic. I do prefer to play at my courts at my condo complex. We normally play about 4 pm every day monday through friday. It isthe condo complex behind safeway in Kaneohe.

    Thanks Scott

    Hello, Lou Lom. =)

    Nice to hear from you.

No I haven't heard of her. Could I help with anything?
  • Marcy

Sorry, I don't know of any 60+ players at this time. I will let you know if I meet any though.
  • Catherine

Yes, I was as crazy as you were! =D

In school, I do not have much friends to play with. I started out about one and a half years ago. I took all the free time I have to my advantage, and practised really hard. I started out practising my serves, and I serve good. Many of my female friends who play with me say I serve hard, and good. Probably because of the many times I stayed back in school to practise my serves. Soon, I developed my groundstrokes and has improved drastically. I could really see my improvement ever since the first few weeks I started on tennis.

Of course, tennis fanatics like you and me will not stop at where we are, and are never satisfied with our game and play. Both of us strive to improve our games, and I aim to play to my best of my abilities, and I want to be a great player. =D
