Welcome to Tennisopolis! I created this tennis community so that people could meet to talk about the pros or create a local group to find hitting partners. We launched just two weeks ago. So I guess that makes you a charter member. :-)
There's a group of us (4-5, 50ish guys) who play at Three Sister's Park every Saturday morning at 9:30, and we don't mind including orphans. Usually we'll rotate players in every fourth game, so you don't have to wait for too long. Our playing ability is probably 3.0 - 3.5, but we're friendly players, nothing competitive.
As far as female players go (I understand it's probably more fun for you if you play women), now and then we get one or two to show up - both are good players (3.5). Also, when the weather is warmer, a group of pretty good ladies show up on another court, but I don't know if they'll rotate in or not.
The courts are located north of Academy, on McKinley (look for the Honda place on Academy - the light is McKinley.) Just say that Dave invited you, if I'm not there. No problemo!
Hi Deborah. I, too, am looking for a steady partner and have been playing on and off most of my life. Depending on where you live, I'm available weekdays or weekends. I'd love to get together and see how we do. Thanks!

I see you already joined the Duke City Group – Great!. Invite your friends too.
There's a lot of fun to be had on Tennisopolis. A good place to start is by customizing your page and adding a picture.
See you around,
Mark
